Media Technology have been involved in digital media duplication since the 1980's, starting with Diskette Duplication then moving into CD Duplication (also known as CD Burning) in the early 1990's. In 1998 Media Technology introduced CD Replication to our range of services by installing New Zealand's first CD Manufacturing plant in Ponsonby. Producing both CD Audio and CD-ROM discs and offering CD Printing.
We have now expanded our range to include DVD Duplication, DVD Replication and USB Flash Drive Duplication.
Media Technology recently purchased Geerling Offset Print to form a new division called MediaTec Print. The printing plant has been installed in our existing premises giving Media Technology in house CTP plate making, Offset and Digital Printing, Die Cutting, Folding and Saddle Stitching. Media Technology Group is a publicly listed company on the secondary board of the New Zealand Stock exchange.
We also offer a logistics and Fulfilment Service where we store product for our customers and ship direct to their customers as required.
CD duplication is sometimes referred to as CD copying, or CD burning. CD replication is sometimes referred to as CD Pressing, or CD Production. DVD Duplication can also be referred to as DVD copying or DVD burning. Likewise the terms DVD replication, DVD pressing and DVD production are used interchangeably.
